1. Information We Collect
When you create an account or use BigBookHub, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash)
- Payment information: processed securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers
- Reading activity: progress, bookmarks, and highlights you create
- Usage data: pages visited and features used, to improve the service
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve BigBookHub
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, account notifications)
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Email delivery is handled by Resend. These services maintain their own privacy policies and security standards.
4. Cookies
BigBookHub uses a single httpOnly authentication cookie (auth_token) to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
5. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Update your profile information in Account Settings
- Delete your account and all associated data from Account Settings → Danger Zone
- Request a copy of your data by contacting us
