Joan Conquest (1883–1941) has one book in the BigBookHub catalogue: The Hawk of Egypt.
A novel set in Egypt that follows Damaris Hethencourt as she explores the Cairo bazaar with her bulldog, Wellington. There she notices Hugh Carden Ali, a man of mixed heritage, and the story hints at romance and adventure.
