John Timbs (1801–1875) has one book in the BigBookHub catalogue: English Eccentrics and Eccentricities.
Timbs collects the delightfully bizarre lives of English eccentrics—those who refused conformity before it was fashionable—revealing a tradition of principled and unprincipled rebellion woven through respectable society. These portraits celebrate the misfits who make history strange.
