Timothy Dexter (1747–1806) has one book in the BigBookHub catalogue: A Pickle for the Knowing Ones.
Timothy Dexter, an eccentric millionaire with no formal education, rambles through his own biography with such chaotic enthusiasm, creative spelling, and unhinged logic that the result transcends madness to become an accidental masterpiece of American originality. A document so bewildering it achieves a kind of genius.
